Elric of Melnibone

Elric of Melniboné is a fictional character created by Michael Moorcock.
His official name is Elric VIII, 428th Emperor of Melniboné.

Elric is also one of the few sympathetic albino characters in Western fantasy literature, where characters with albinism are usually villains. His image is generally idealized, his albinism treated as a thing of beauty – the stories are replete with descriptions of his "long flowing locks of white hair", "flawless bone-white skin" and "delicate, almost female features."

"It is the color of a bleached skull, his flesh; and the long hair which flows below his shoulders is milk-white. From the tapering, beautiful head stare two slanting eyes, crimson and moody, and from the loose sleeves of his yellow gown emerge two slender hands, also the color of bone."
